Oklahoma CareerTech has partnered with Kuder to provide an online career planning system to students in grades six through 12, postsecondary students, and adults throughout the state. The OK Career Guide, powered by Kuder® (www.OKCareerGuide.org) launched on Aug. 21. OKCareerGuide.org enables students and adults to gain valuable information on career options, education and training, and to connect directly with business and industry.
The system includes Kuder Navigator® for students in grades 6-12 and Kuder Journey® for postsecondary students and adults. Both feature Kuder’s research-based assessments allow users to identify interests, skills confidence, and work values.
Kuder is supporting the system’s implementation by training Oklahoma’s administrators, teachers, advisers, and counselors to optimize their use of the system as they administer career guidance to the students and adults they serve.
“The OK Career Guide allows our students to not only dream big, but also provides roadmaps for them to accomplish those dreams,” said Gov. Mary Fallin. “This will be a significant component to the Oklahoma Works initiative.”
“Kuder is extremely proud to partner with Oklahoma CareerTech to offer Oklahomans comprehensive tools and resources for effective career planning,” said Kuder President and CEO Phil Harrington.
