Kuder received the President’s “E Star” Award for Exports at a ceremony on Monday, May 21 in Washington, D.C. The President’s “E” Award is the highest recognition any U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports. The award honors Kuder’s ongoing achievements in serving the needs of youth and adults across the world.

Kuder has held the E Award for Exports honor since 2014. The “E Star” distinction recognizes Kuder’s subsequent expansions.

In a letter of congratulations to Kuder, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross said, “The ‘E’ Awards Committee was very impressed with Kuder’s customization of products for export markets.”

“We are extremely proud and honored to be one of only eight companies to receive the President’s “E Star” Award this year and for the recognition that our customizable solutions are making an impact on economies across the world,” said Kuder President and CEO Phil Harrington.

The “E” Star Award for Exports recognizes previous “E” Award recipients who have reported four years of additional export growth.

About the “E” Awards

In 1961, President Kennedy signed an executive order reviving the World War II “E” symbol of excellence to honor and provide recognition to America’s exporters. Criteria for the award is based on four years of successive export growth in one or more international markets.
