Oklahoma CareerTech announced today the launch of Kuder Galaxy®  an online career awareness system for all students in grades pre-K through five. Galaxy is now accessible to Oklahoma’s young learners via the statewide OK Career Guide, powered by Kuder®.

“It’s a fast-paced, interactive program that makes career awareness fun and engaging,” said Cori Gray, CareerTech deputy state director.

Galaxy exposes students to traditional and nontraditional careers.

Lawton Public Schools Counselor Amy Wilcox said Galaxy encourages students to explore both traditional and nontraditional careers. Wilcox was part of a group that beta-tested the program before its official launch.

“Our students love the program,” Wilcox said. “Galaxy helps their self-esteem and encourages them to become more goal-oriented.”

“We’re thrilled that the OK Career Guide is truly a platform for lifelong learning and career development,” said  Kuder President & CEO Phil Harrington. “From pre-K through adulthood, all Oklahomans can now access tools and resources to dream big, and plan accordingly.”
